With over five years of experience living, studying, and working in Seoul, Brett co-founded seoulplay to share his intimate knowledge of Seoul and Korean culture with people new to Seoul or who have international businesses in Seoul.?

Brett first came to Seoul to study Korean language as an exchange student at Yonsei University, where he fell in love with the city and the culture.?Brett later graduated from the University of North Carolina-Chapel with a BA in Anthropology and was a recipient of the prestigious US Fulbright Scholarship to Korea. Brett’s academic background also includes graduating from Yonsei University’s Korean Language Institute?and graduate work in Korean Studies at Korea University.?

Brett’s career experience in Korea began at the International Herald Tribune ?Joongang Daily, writing for the Lifestyle and Culture Desk.?His journalistic work included reviewing boutique and upscale hotels, new restaurants, shops and cultural events around Seoul.?More recently, Brett has worked in brand marketing strategy and advertising at Ogilvy in Seoul helping multinational corporations do business in Korea.?Brett is currently a consultant at an international consulting company. Brett has authored one English travel guide for the Seoul City Government and regularly does freelance writing, translating, interpretation, and consulting work in Seoul.

Winter, one of the first Americans to be a regular on-air TV personality in Korea on the hit KBS TV show “Beauties Chatter Box”, has co-founded seoulplay to share her endless knowledge and love for Seoul.?

Winter first came to Seoul in the late 1990’s as a K-pop loving high school student. On her first trip to Seoul, Winter fell in-love with Korea and has made regular trips to Korea ever since. She graduated summa cum laude from Boston University with a BA in East Asian Studies, focusing on the economy, culture and politics of Korea.?She additionally studied Korean at Yonsei University. Winter, a soon to be law school graduate, has worked in the Korean business and legal field Barun Law Firm, an internationally recognized law firm in Seoul. Besides her work on KBS, Winter has appeared in many TV interviews and fashion magazine articles for her keen art, fashion, and beauty sense. Most recently, Winter and seoulplay were featured in the September 2008 issue of Elle Magazine USA. In addition to working with seoulplay, she is actively involved in raising the awareness of women’s and victim’s rights issues in Korea.

Kai joined seoulplay as a partner to offer greater services to more Korea based clients and to improve on the quality of services offered to our international clientele. Kai comes to seoulplay as a customer relations expert, having extensive training in hospitality, culinary arts, and retail management. His career experience includes work at one of Seoul’s finest French restaurants and other various international retail brand experience. As a regular consultant in this area, Kai currently studies hospitality, lifestyle brands, and event planning. Kai enjoys traveling and exploring the world’s best boutique hotels and restaurants.
